Counter Sessions — check the cash drawer

A session is one shift on one counter, from when a cashier opens it to when they close it and count the cash.

  1. 1 Click Reports › Counter Sessions.
  2. 2 Open means the shift is still running. Closed means it's finished and the cash was counted.
  3. 3 Opening Cash is the float the drawer started with. Closing Cash is what was counted at the end. Below them are the Cash, QR and Card sales, the number of transactions and the net sales for the shift.
  4. 4 Expected Cash in Counter — what should be in the drawer: opening cash plus cash sales.
  5. 5 Cash Variance — the difference: Balanced, Short (less cash than expected) or Over (more).

TipSet a Close Counter Report Email to get this same information as a PDF every time a counter closes.
2

Stock Value — what your stock is worth

  1. 1 Click Reports › Stock Value.
  2. 2 Stock Value — everything on your shelves, valued at cost price (stock × cost price).
  3. 3 Needs Attention — how many products are low or out of stock.
  4. 4 Stock Value by Category — where your money is tied up.

Below the chart, every product is listed with its current stock and an OK, Low or Out badge. Export downloads the list, which is useful for a stock take.

Always today's stockThis report shows your stock right now. The date range buttons don't change it.
3

Low Stock / Reorder — your shopping list

  1. 1 Click Reports › Low Stock / Reorder.
  2. 2 Below Threshold — products at or below their Low Stock Alert level. Out of Stock and Categories Affected are next to it.
  3. 3 The Reorder List shows each product's stock against its alert level, and how many it's short. Here, Mineral Water has 3 but should have at least 5, so it's 2 short.

Click PDF or CSV on the Reorder List to take it to your supplier. Only products with a Low Stock Alert set are checked. See Set stock & availability.

4

Refunds & Voids

  1. 1 Click Reports › Refunds & Voids.
  2. 2 Refund / Void Rate — what share of transactions were refunded or voided. Total Amount is next to it.
  3. 3 Refund Method — how much was paid back in cash vs by bank transfer.

Below is every refund and void with its reason. Click one to see the items. To see who did or approved it, use Approvals.

TipA rate that keeps rising is worth a look. Check the reasons, and whether one cashier appears more than others.
5

Sales by Hour — when you're busiest

Choose This Week or This Month for the most useful picture.

  1. 1 Click Reports › Sales by Hour.
  2. 2 Busiest Hour — the hour of the day that brought in the most money.
  3. 3 Hour × Day Heatmap — one square for every hour of every weekday. The darker the square, the more you sold. Hover over a square for the exact amount.

Use it to plan staff shifts, opening hours and when to restock the shelves.

6

Tax Summary

Reports › Tax Summary shows the Total Tax Collected for the period, a chart and a list by day, and a CSV download for your tax filing. It only has numbers if you charge tax. See Tax %.

7

Package Performance

Reports › Package Performance shows how your promo bundles are doing: Package Revenue, Times Sold and Avg Revenue / Sale, for each package.

8

Compare Businesses

If you have more than one business or branch, Reports › Compare Businesses puts them side by side. Click the business names at the top to pick two or more. Each gets a card with Net Revenue, Sales, Avg Basket (average sale) and Gross Margin, plus a daily revenue chart to compare them.
